Black Skull (Batman4014's Batworld Original Series)

Blackskull

History

Blackskull is a secretive and technologically advanced faction with a long and shadowy history. The group is currently led by the enigmatic figure known as the Supreme Leader, whose body has been almost entirely replaced by machinery, leaving only the brain intact. This transformation has made the Supreme Leader a living symbol of the organization’s doctrine of mechanical supremacy.

Blackskull’s origins trace back to the age of blades and shields, when it first emerged as a ruthless band of mercenaries. Over time, the group became closely associated with the Towred Empire, operating for decades as an unofficial arm of imperial power. During this period, Blackskull increasingly took on tasks the empire could not publicly acknowledge, including targeted killings, clandestine missions, and other covert operations.

Although Blackskull operated in close coordination with Towred for many years, their methods became increasingly brutal and ethically indefensible. Following the great war between Wiglington, Cheonggyeong, and Towred, the Towred government ultimately expelled the faction from its territory.

Rather than resist, Blackskull accepted exile. Using the wealth and assets accumulated under Towred’s patronage, the organization restructured itself as an independent power. Freed from oversight, it expanded rapidly, embracing futuristic technologies and developing a philosophy of accelerated evolutionism and techno-supremacy.

In the modern era, Blackskull operates as a powerful and clandestine syndicate. The group is notorious for disregarding ethical boundaries in pursuit of technological advancement. Today, roughly half of its members have replaced their bodies with robotics or cybernetic augmentations, while their enforcers — including assassin troopers who serve as bodyguards for high-ranking figures — are almost entirely robotic.

Blackskull’s strength is further reinforced by its ability to attract world-class scientists, many of whom were personally recruited by the Supreme Leader. Promised unlimited resources and freedom from ethical restrictions, these scientists have developed weapons and equipment far beyond contemporary standards.

The majority of Blackskull operates out of massive subterranean bases, hidden deep underground and completely unknown to the general public.

Ghosts of Four

Within Blackskull, there exists a specialized elite unit known as the Ghosts of Four. Regarded as the Supreme Leader’s most valued asset, this group is equipped with state-of-the-art, future-grade technology that pushes the limits of modern warfare. Under the command of General Felix, the Ghosts are deployed on missions where failure is not an option, often tasked with eliminating political leaders or influential individuals seen as obstacles to Blackskull’s ambitions.

    2. That is a major spoiler for an episode planned for future animation, so I can’t reveal it to you at the moment! This question might be addressed in the epilogue of Felix & Ayzer Part 2.

  4. Oh, I missed a post again, but it was nice to learn more about the Black Skull and see the Supreme Leader again.

  5. Wow, there's an update here, and a new image of Ghosts of Four has been added. Hmm, I see that Revenant has a new design, or is it just one of his costumes? Revenant always looked massive, but now he's like a walking armored vehicle, and that's a good thing >:) It suits his character and fighting style.

    1. Yes, this is Revenant’s official new armor.
The one that appeared in Super Vampire Season 2 was his Mk.1 armor, and this new version is the upgraded Mk.2, much more intense and powerful!
In Super Vampire Season 3, his Mk.1 armor is planned to be replaced with the Mk.2 as part of the story progression.

    2. Okay, now I have one more reason to wait for the third season of Super Vampire, and it will be great to see Mk.2 in action٩( ᐛ )و

  6. Stop, I already had these thoughts before the post about the Black Skull and the Phantom. I have a very plausible theory, as you know, the Black Skull uses the Phantom to eliminate anyone who stands in the Black Skull's way, but in reality, there should be many more enemies of the Black Skull, and if the Black Skull continues to use the Phantom regularly, they will leave a lot of evidence behind and become suspicious. To avoid this, the Black Skull hires other assassins, such as Red Dot :) (Diamond Taker intro) If this is the case, it would be better to add it to the wiki about how the Black Skull uses different mercenaries.

    1. Yes, that’s correct! The Black Skull occasionally hires a variety of specialized mercenaries.
Since the Black Skull’s name itself is highly sensitive, they hire these mercenaries under anonymous identities to avoid revealing their true identity.

However, in situations where no evidence must be left behind, the Black Skull relies on Phantom, who specializes in this kind of operation. As an elite assassin, Phantom is far superior to any mercenary in terms of assassination and evidence removal. That’s why he almost never makes the mistakes that mercenaries do, such as getting caught or leaving traces behind.

During the Super Vampire series, there were some variables due to the powers of Vorthalas held by Carissa and Lucas, which caused Phantom to fail in seizing Vorthalas. Nevertheless, in missions involving ordinary targets, he remains an extremely thorough and precise character.

The current wiki is primarily organized around the main story animation flow and the characters’ past stories, so it’s difficult for me to cover stories outside the main story area at the moment. I will add the part you requested once I have finished fully organizing the main story.
